Systems Contractor News is a trade publication produced by United Media Entertainment Publications of New York, the publishers of Pro Sound News magazine, EQ magazine and other well known audio and video industry magazines. SCN is aimed at the growing market of systems integrators, those contractors and consultants that are dealing with the convergance of audio, video, communication, security and data technologies in the digital realm. The magazine offers a view to where the industry is at and where it may be going.

Barry McKinnon, is a principal and senior systems designer for M^c2 System Design Group, and one of the Contributing Consultants to the magazine, has been part of the anchor editorial group from the inception of the publication. He is a regular columnist for the publication, providing Commentary articles on a variety of issues that are relevant to all of us in the electronic communications industry.
