We provided sound system design design services to the University of Victoria for the new Centre for Athletics, Recreation and Special Abilities (CARSA) performance gym. The University wanted a system capable of supporting CIAU sports events with high quality music playback, as well as supporting the multi-use functions of the gym.

The sound system features nineteen independently driven speaker system zones in the gym, allowing a great deal of flexibility in the active presets in the space. The gym has a variety of retractable bleacher configurations to accommodate up to 1600 spectators, or as many as 2100 people including floor seating for events such as convocations or conventions. Multiple input locations and five wireless microphones provide a variety of options for event commentators and for coaching. The system also has a FM listening assistance system for hearing impaired support.
