I'd have launched him right outside again. Nobody gave a moment's thought for HAL, the conflict he was going through. Sorry, I'll pull myself together now, it's just that movie is so powerful. (sniff). Sigh... OK. Where was I? Oh yeah, I was showing another human user the way out. You are so lucky you are not in an airlock right now!
