Before beginning their creative process with the Interrarium participants, monitors Laughlin and griffiths present Grace. Joe Laughlin is an award-winning dancer/choreographer and the artistic director of Joe Ink. jamie griffiths is an international gallery artist and experimental film director. Together they have forged a “new media duet” that will appeal to both adventurous dance fans and computer geeks.

More about the Participants

creative energy = cultural mass x speed of creation 2

Each week involves six days of intensive creation time culminating in a public performance. Working in teams of 3-4, a mix of interdisciplinary artists work like high-intensity idea-machines, under the gracious guidance of our benevolent monitors. What will come of such experiments in creative horticulture? Each weeks' public performance (Sunday Jan 22, Sun Jan 29 3:00 pm) is a dizzying sampling of what can happen in a well-fertilized environment.
